Yard Rules

At Pick Your Part, we strive to provide a safe and efficient self-service salvage yard experience. To ensure everyone's safety and maintain order, please adhere to the following yard rules and policies:

General Rules

• All customers must sign a release and pay an entry fee before entering the yard.
• Toolboxes and bags are subject to inspection upon entry and exit.
• Shooting video or photos while on PYP property is strictly prohibited.
• No customer-owned parts allowed in the yard for comparison. Customers may compare parts under the supervision of a PYP employee in the sales office.
• Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, long pants, and closed-toe shoes are highly recommended.
• Parts prices are posted at the front office and on the website. Be prepared to pay before exiting.
• Total price includes the part, core, and optional guarantee. Prices do not include taxes or environmental fees, which will be calculated at the time of purchase.
• We do not sell catalytic converters.

Prohibited Items & Actions

To maintain a safe environment, the following are strictly prohibited:

• Jacks & Jack Stands – All vehicles are pre-supported for safe access to parts.
• Grinders, Generators, & Cutting Torches – Customers may not bring or use these tools on-site.
• Gas-Powered Tools – No gas-powered tools are allowed on the premises.
• Alcohol, Drugs, or Illegal Substances – Possession will result in removal and possible prosecution.
• Children Under 16 – Minors are not allowed in the yard.
• Pets – Pets are not permitted inside the yard.

Behavior & Safety Policies

• Anyone not practicing safe behaviors will be asked to leave.
• Theft or vandalism will result in prosecution.
• We reserve the right to search all toolboxes and handbags.
